kidsRally Day (Sunday after Labor Day)
Rally Day helps us kick off the new school year with lots of fun outdoor festivities for all ages and a wonderful picnic lunch. Kids get to meet their Sunday school teachers and get ready for a great new year.  Join us for a fresh start. A new beginning.

Classes for preschoolers begin after the children's time in worship (about 9:45) and continue until 11:30 AM.

Children who come to worship stay through a children’s time and then may stay in worship or travel to activity centers while worship continues.

Church School Age appropriate Sunday School classes for children and youth begin at 10:30. (Adult education classes begin at 10:55, following a fellowship time in the Jones Room.)

Bethlehem Choir is for children in Kindergarten through grade 2.  The choir meets on Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:15 p.m. from November - May.  Starting later in the fall means that families may not have to choose between choir and fall sports.

Jerusalem Choir is for children in grades 3-5.  The choir also meets on Thursday evenings (November - May) and runs from 6:00–6:45 p.m. and sings with the Bethlehem Choir in worship approximately once a month.

Family Choir is for those who are too excited to sing and can not wait until November, a brand new choir will be meeting this September.  Parents and children in Kindergarten through grade 2 will meet on Thursday evenings from 6:00-6:45 from late September through the end of October for musical fun. The choir is designed for children who have never sung in a choir before and want to try it out or who may be a little nervous about joining a choir for the first time.

God’s Children Sing is an opportunity for parents and young children to enjoy making music together from 11:00-11:25 on Sunday mornings. The songs and musical games are especially for children ages 2-5, but younger or older children are welcome. Come sing and play!

Sunday School Music - Children in Kindergarten through grade 5 end their Sunday school time with singing.  We have lots of fun singing traditional Sunday school songs and hymns.  The Sunday school children sing in worship a few times a year.

Communion Preparation Class
Each fall, children in kindergarten and older are invited to attend a lively Saturday communion preparation class, taught by the pastors and our Christian Education staff. Children make bread, learn about the sacraments of the church and especially about the Lord’s Supper as they prepare to participate in communion the next day in Sunday worship
