Classes for preschoolers begin after the children's time in worship (about 9:45) and continue until 11:30 AM.
Children who come to worship stay through a children’s time and then may stay in worship or travel to activity centers while worship continues.
Church School Age appropriate Sunday School classes for children and youth begin at 10:30. (Adult education classes begin at 10:55, following a fellowship time in the Jones Room.)
Bethlehem Choir is for children in Kindergarten through grade 2. The choir meets on Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:15 p.m. from November - May. Starting later in the fall means that families may not have to choose between choir and fall sports.
Jerusalem Choir is for children in grades 3-5. The choir also meets on Thursday evenings (November - May) and runs from 6:00–6:45 p.m. and sings with the Bethlehem Choir in worship approximately once a month.
Family Choir is for those who are too excited to sing and can not wait until November, a brand new choir will be meeting this September. Parents and children in Kindergarten through grade 2 will meet on Thursday evenings from 6:00-6:45 from late September through the end of October for musical fun. The choir is designed for children who have never sung in a choir before and want to try it out or who may be a little nervous about joining a choir for the first time.
God’s Children Sing is an opportunity for parents and young children to enjoy making music together from 11:00-11:25 on Sunday mornings. The songs and musical games are especially for children ages 2-5, but younger or older children are welcome. Come sing and play!
Sunday School Music - Children in Kindergarten through grade 5 end their Sunday school time with singing. We have lots of fun singing traditional Sunday school songs and hymns. The Sunday school children sing in worship a few times a year.
